Mr. Kenneth Christian
Mr. Kenneth Christian is a proud Buckeye!  He earned his Bachelor's degree (Human Development) and M.Ed. (Middle School Education) from the Ohio State University.  While attending Ohio State, Mr. Christian was involved with the university's Minority Affairs department, which shaped his view of equity in education.  He was also a walk-on member of the football team, where he learned about perseverance and true teamwork, qualities he tries to instill in students daily.

Since graduating, Mr. Christian has lived in south Louisville with his wife, Leah, and four children-Keira, Kyah, Kolton, and Kaydin.  Before joining Fern Creek High School, Mr. Christian taught at Western Middle School for the Arts for six years and was a resource teacher at Thomas Jefferson Middle School for one year.  While teaching, he completed his Ed.S. in School Leadership and Administration degree at Bellarmine University in 2015.

Mr. Christian joined the Fern Creek staff in October of 2018.  Mr. Christian's roles include the Director of Behavior Management, overseeing the Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS), and leading the team working on Positive Behavior Intervention Systems (PBIS).  Mr. Christian strives to create an environment that gives every student their best chance at getting a meaningful education.  As a parent himself, he works to ensure our school is a place that any parent feels confident in their student's safety and opportunity for success.
 
Mr. Jarrod Hunt
Mr. Jarrod Hunt is an Assistant Principal at Fern Creek High School in Louisville, Kentucky. He has worked at Fern Creek for nine years both as a social studies teacher and as an administrator.  Before that he taught history and government at Bryan Station High School in Lexington, Kentucky. Jarrod earned a Bachelor’s degree in history and political science at Georgetown College, a Master’s degree in education from the University of Kentucky, and an EdS in instructional leadership and school administration from Bellarmine University.

Dr. Julia 'Jai' Wilson
Dr. Julia “Jai” Wilson is a 21 year educator with the Jefferson County Public Schools, serving as a science teacher and department chair, an assistant principal intern, and an assistant principal in five different high schools within JCPS.

Dr. Wilson completed her Bachelors of Science in Biology Education at Kentucky State University in Frankfort, Kentucky, a Masters of Science/Rank I in Secondary Education & Leadership at Indiana University Southeast, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Leadership and Organizational Development at the University of Louisville.

Dr. Wilson believes that all students are capable of learning at high levels, and encourages her students to do just that every day!  She believes that all stakeholders – school officials, teachers, parents, and students – play a role in the teaching and learning process, and that we all have a collective responsibility to ensure that the learning process happens every period, every day.   

Dr. Wilson is a JCPS Outstanding Educator of Color nominee, served as the President, Vice President and Treasurer of the JCPS Assistant Principals’ Association, and is an adjunct professor at Campbellsville University.  She is the wife of 20 years to husband, Ozell, and mother to 12 year old twins, Alex and Gabby.  Rounding out #teamWILSON are three furry children: an 8 year old Havanese, Tucker, a 4 year old Bouvier des Flanders, Nala Roxanne, and a one year old Malti-Tzu, Corabelle Lou.  In her spare time, Dr. Wilson enjoys movies, visiting the beach, and spending time outdoors hiking and jogging.
